The Gepard GPR is a versatile and powerful ground-penetrating radar designed for detecting underground objects such as pipelines, cavities, cables, conduits, tunnels, bunkers, and foundations. Utilizing an omnidirectional unshielded transmission system, it achieves impressive depths of up to 40 meters (130 feet). This lightweight and compact unit can be easily operated by a single user via an Android Tablet PC.

Detectable Structures

The RADAR (Radio Detection and Ranging) of the Gepard GPR 3D sends a signal into the ground and awaits the reflection or echo of the signal to detect sub-surface anomalies.

The Gepard ground penetrating radar operates across a wide transmission frequency range from 60 MHz to 300 MHz, facilitated by adjustable telescopic antennas. It features numerous automatic adjustments to optimize ground surveys for specific soil types, making the Gepard easy to handle. Users simply set their desired depth resolution and begin surveying.

Analyze Measurement Data Effortlessly with Our Android App

The measured data from the ground penetrating radar is instantly transferred to the Android Tablet PC via WiFi, displaying the information directly on the screen. The software provides seamless integration with GPS signals and Google Maps, allowing users to filter data automatically and add notes for easy reference of specific scan details. This automatic filtering enhances scan results, making it easier to locate hidden objects and structures. Additionally, the integrated GPS functionality enables users to store all scan positions alongside the collected data for comprehensive analysis and documentation.

GPR Scan Analysis in Visualizer 3D Studio

The new rendering views in OKM’s Visualizer 3D Studio software enhance the visualization of detected structures, enabling more detailed analyses. This innovative feature allows users to gain deeper insights into subsurface anomalies, facilitating better decision-making during excavation and exploration.

Upon opening a GPR measurement, the Main Toolbar in Visualizer 3D Studio includes an additional button that allows users to seamlessly switch between 2D and 3D render views. This feature enhances the analysis of detected structures, providing valuable insights for detailed evaluation.

Enhance your scan image by selecting one of the newly added OKM GPR Soil Types from the right sidebar and configuring the visualization settings, such as enabling Smoothing. This optimization allows for more accurate and detailed analyses of your data.

In the Visualization menu (Right Sidebar), you can adjust the Threshold to control the number of hidden and visible scan values, along with their corresponding colors in the Volumetric render view.
