Advanced Geoelectrical Detection for Water and Cavities
Are you searching for underground water resources or hidden cavities at depths of up to 250 meters (820 ft)? The GeoSeeker is a professional geoelectrical water and cavity detector that measures ground resistivity and visualizes scan data in stunning 3D graphics. Designed and manufactured in Germany, this highly mobile and user-friendly detector is perfect for locating groundwater deposits and identifying hidden voids.
The GeoSeeker employs a geoelectrical measurement procedure based on the Schlumberger method to accurately read the apparent resistivity of the ground. This technology enables the detector to locate underground water deposits, water-bearing gravel, groundwater levels, and cavities such as caves, tunnels, and chambers. As a versatile geophysical detector, the GeoSeeker functions effectively as both a water finder and a cavity detector.
Control GeoSeeker with a Modern Android Tablet
The GeoSeeker hardware components are fully controlled via a modern Android Tablet PC. All commands and measurement results are transferred wirelessly through Wi-Fi. With the pre-installed software application, you can easily select from three supported scan modes:

Active Scan (Accurate)
In Active Scan mode, the GeoSeeker employs two electrodes to inject electrical power into the underground soil. Two additional electrodes measure the potential difference (voltage drop) at specific scan points, allowing for accurate calculation of the final resistivity value.
This mode is effective for detecting underground water deposits, hidden caves, and impervious layers or barriers within the soil. During active scans, you can define a specific depth range for your measurements, selecting a starting and ending depth between 5 meters (16 feet) and 250 meters (820 feet).

Active Scan (Quick)
The Quick Scan mode is a streamlined version of the Accurate Scan. Like its counterpart, it injects electrical current into the underground and measures the potential difference (voltage drop) to calculate the ground’s resistivity efficiently.

Passive Scan
In Passive Scan mode, the GeoSeeker utilizes two electrodes to measure the naturally occurring voltage in the underground without injecting any electrical power. This mode is specifically designed for detecting underground flowing water.
GeoSeeker Android Application: Step-by-Step Measurement Assistance

After selecting your preferred language, it will be displayed in the toolbar icon using the ISO 639-1 two-letter code. The Rover C4 supports the following languages:

Single Measurement (of a single point only)

Complete Measurement (of a rectangular field)

Lengthwise Measurement (of a single line)

Crosswise Measurement (of a single line)
Enhanced 3D Visualization of GeoSeeker Measurements

Upon completing the measurement, a 3D representation of the data is displayed on the tablet screen. Various color adjustment options allow you to optimize the visualization of detected underground water deposits, water-bearing gravel, and groundwater levels (shown in blue), as well as cavities, caves, tunnels, chambers, and impervious layers (depicted in reddish hues).
With the major update to Visualizer 3D Studio in 2023, GeoSeeker measurements can now be displayed, optimized, and analyzed in greater detail. The new Volumetric 3D render view marks a significant milestone for GeoSeeker users, enhancing their ability to interpret and utilize measurement data effectively.
